I finished watching Station Eleven after you gave it a very positive review a while back. I loved it. I also loved it even though there were many changes from the book. I thought they all worked and it stands on its own as a great achievement.
I also love the miniseries format. I don't watch much tv, so watching multiple seasons of a show is a big commitment that would take months. I started Band of Brothers which is fantastic, and I'll be looking for more on the different streaming services once I done with that one.
I'm so glad you had a good experience with Station Eleven.
And I totally agree about the mini/limited series format. One to two seasons of high-quality TV is hard to come by but very much appreciated. I'll keep my ear to the ground for more of them!
Station Eleven wrecked me, in a completely cathartic way. Jeevan’s storyline was so good. Plus, I lived in Chicago during the pandemic, so it was cool seeing familiar places. But also eerie seeing they started filming it there in January of 2020.
Yeap, I have. I read it first and then watched the show. I’ve read three of her novels now and they do not disappoint. I’m looking forward to reading her other works.
That would be the Greta Gerwig directed Barbie movie starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling. You can pretend to not be excited too but, we know the truth.
Wait. You are excited for Mario??
Excited to see it with the kids! Heck yeah!

Prey was great! Such a fun movie.

Being wrecked by Station Eleven is a shared TV experience that I’m glad to be a part of. Have you read the book?

I'm surprised you didn't love EEAAO. I'm curious what held it back in your rankings
I'll message you! I need to go back and listen to your episode.
What's #6 at the bottom? Looks Barbie-ish.
