This is great stuff! I write, record podcasts and videos and I feel the resistance ALL. THE. TIME. I’ve found progress in the small daily habits/goals. At least 15 min a day (1% ish, thanks Atomic Habits). Somedays it crap but done. Other days I get into the flow and write for an hour. I can’t control it, I just try to give myself the opportunity to make something. I think all your current steps are doable and wise and I think if you stick to them, you’ll see the fruit and have something to show for it. And shelving a book, I HATE doing that. I feel like I’m quitting. But prioritizing requires quitting.
I forget which writer suggested this, but during that dedicated time, do nothing but the thing. No internet, no phone, no TV, no radio, no nothing but the thing. Just the blank page or screen in front of you and nothing else.
Thanks Bob. I didn’t mention it but I also need time with just my thoughts. So go on a walk but have no music or audiobook. Or just sit with my thoughts and a pen and paper. I don’t spend enough time with my own mind.
You’ve got it. Now get going.

Respect you for putting your big goal out there! I think you’re going to do it!
Thanks Michael. Jenny would like me to make it clear that I’m not making a feature film, but a short film.
Tell Jenny I already knew.
Great issue, Kyle! Is your WG online or in person?
Hey Rick! It’s online video chat. In person would be better but one of the guys is in another state.

Thanks, this is an encouraging comment, I appreciate it.
And thanks for the reminder to do the thing. I needed it.

Godspeed on your thing!

That's an easy task to neglect, for sure!
Congratulations on your 9 pages, Kyle!
Thanks Jam! I appreciate your support.
