I'll have to disagree with Children of Men. The movie was just OK. I felt it missed on the deeper themes and I've found I'm not much of a Clive Owen fan. It think COM might be where that started. Now, Scott Pilgrim surprised the heck out of me for how much I enjoyed it. Nerd heroes - who knew?!?! I'll have to find the book now to see if you're right or not 😉

The crazy thing about Scott Pilgrim is it started as a graphic novel, was adapted to a movie with big name stars, and is now getting the animated TV series Netflix treatment with the same big name stars providing the voices. Absolutely bonkers.
Yeah I thought it would bother me too but it really didn’t. I don’t spend any time following him today so I have him preserved in this as well as Deja Vu and Frequency.

It’s been a long while since I’ve last seen this movie. I really enjoyed it and the book as well.
Still wild to see such a young Henry Cavill. Also did not recognize Mercedes as the actress from Succession.
I really loved Caviezel in this (and Person of Interest) back in the day, but I must confess that watching him now comes with some baggage.
