Is it worth reading the books for the seasons I've already watched? Especially with season 3 coming out so soon? I'm wondering if they are similar enough where reading this series is worth it for me or if I should just enjoy the show on its own.
It's still on my list! I guess I just have so many other series I still need to finish, and then my major reading goals for the year are other big books (Caro, Baroque Cycle, etc).
The books are different enough and have additional detail and characterization that I consider it worth it. The audio versions of these are fantastic and how I experienced most of these.
